We invite our members to discover the myriad possibilities within the profession and build an actionable future in management accounting.
Management accountants are vital to the financial health of organizations. They make critical decisions, safeguard a company’s integrity, and plan for business sustainability. They might be CFOs and controllers, budget analysts and treasurers, or one of many other game changers on internal teams. Most of all, as the majority of the accounting and financial workforce, they help drive an organization’s strategy and value amid an unpredictable market. As a member of the IMA I am required to take thirty hours of continuing education annually including two hours ethics. Source: https://www.imanet.org/about-ima

SCMS started as the Spot Club 86 years ago and then in June 1958 was renamed the Stuart Cameron McLeod Society in honor of Doc McLeod for his reputation for member engagement through service. In 1970 SCMS was nicknamed the Society for Continued Member Service. Source: https://scms.imanet.org/home
